The MS400 is a compact and portable multiparameter simulator designed for accurate testing of patient monitors in both clinical and technical environments. Despite its small size and low weight, the MS400 provides comprehensive signal simulation, including 12‑lead ECG, respiration, temperature, and both 2‑channel and 4‑channel invasive blood pressure (IBP). The simulator supports a wide range of ECG waveforms, including standard adult and pediatric ECG, calibration signals, and 35 arrhythmia types such as atrial fibrillation, ventricular fibrillation, PVC variations, conduction defects and tachyarrhythmias. Pacemaker waveforms—including asynchronous pacing, A/V sequential pacing, non‑capture and non‑function—are also available. Respiration signals can be simulated with adjustable rate, impedance and baseline impedance, along with three apnea profiles. Temperature simulation includes four fixed values from 0 °C to 40 °C. The MS400 additionally generates square, triangle, pulse and sine waves with adjustable frequency. All waveforms can be viewed and controlled via the 3.5" TFT touch screen, offering intuitive operation with optional key‑based control. The device operates on a rechargeable lithium battery or adapter, ensuring stable performance with reduced interference. With its robust design, compact dimensions and flexible functionality, the MS400 is an ideal tool for verifying monitor performance directly at the point of use.
